  • •Set technical direction for systems that span UI frameworks, CLI tooling, notification platforms, subscription models, and infrastructure governance workflows.
  • •Stay in touch with your team’s code, and roll up your sleeves when needed to unblock your team by writing code or troubleshooting issues.
  • •Lead and cultivate a team of engineers with a diverse skill-set, including performance management and career development.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience managing engineers working on internal platforms, developer tooling, infrastructure tooling, product platforms, or similar internally focused systems.
  • •Strong technical judgment across distributed systems, internal tools, APIs, data models, and user-facing engineering workflows.
  • •Experience working directly with engineering customers, platform teams, or infrastructure teams to understand workflows and improve how they get work done.
  • •Significant experience in one or more backend languages (e.g., Go, Python, Java) and with data stores such as PostgreSQL, Cassandra, Redis or ElasticSearch.
  • •Frontend or product-surface fluency to guide teams building internal UIs, design systems, workflow tools, or other user-facing engineering experiences.
