Job Summary

Operate a commercial motor vehicle to safely and efficiently deliver freight undamaged to assigned commercial and residential job sites. Inspect and maintain truck/trailer readiness, load/unload building materials, follow DOT and state/federal requirements, and keep required compliance records. Report accidents, lift and handle heavy materials, and prioritize personal and others’ safety while providing strong customer service and a professional attitude.

Key Responsibilities

•Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle and deliver freight undamaged in compliance with company policies and federal/state regulations.
•Inspect truck/trailer for defects and safely load/unload building materials onto flatbed or boom truck.
•Deliver materials to assigned areas as directed by the customer while prioritizing personal and surrounding safety.
•Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations.
•Report all accidents involving driver or company equipment and communicate effectively with management, coworkers, and customers.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED.
•Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL).
