Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide IT systems administration support in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows environment.
  • •Manage and maintain DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and server replication services.
  • •Troubleshoot and resolve moderate to complex issues involving hardware, operating systems, and software integrations.
  • •Implement and manage data RAID plus backup and recovery technologies.
  • •Install, configure, and document software applications for end users and provide ongoing technical support (including on-call/after-hours as needed).

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires a university degree (or equivalent experience) and at least 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 3 years of experience.
  • •Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required because only U.S. citizens are eligible.
  • •Experience with Active Directory, VMware vCenter, vSphere, or other virtual computing methods.
  • •Experience with Windows deployment, administration, security hardening, and troubleshooting.
  • •Ability to obtain Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements within 6 months of start date.
