Job Summary

Ensure safe execution of project work by monitoring HSE activities, enforcing HSEMS and project HSE plan requirements, and tracking performance via daily/weekly/monthly reports. Support emergency response and evacuation planning, deliver HSE training (including first aid and safety awareness), and confirm inductions and risk assessments are completed before work starts. Inspect equipment and safety gear, maintain logs, and investigate incidents to recommend corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities

•Monitor HSE activities on a project to ensure requirements are met per the project HSE plan and HSEMS.
•Assist with developing and implementing field location emergency response procedures and evacuation plans.
•Provide HSE training to workers (including incident prevention, first aid, and safety awareness programs) and run toolbox talks and inductions.
•Identify hazards and unsafe conditions daily, raise observation reports, record corrective measures, and report violations with recommendations.
•Ensure risk assessments are completed before work starts and support incident reporting, resolution, and safety initiatives aligned with company and IMS policies.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 5 years working experience, with 3 years of relevant working experience.
•Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify HSE risks and mitigation strategies.
•Ability to investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
•Comprehensive understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards to ensure compliance.
•Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering, plus a Diploma in NEBOSH or related technical certificates.
