Job Summary

Own uptime and performance for a global fleet of phased-array ground station antennas. Operate and grow a Network Operations Center by monitoring site health, interpreting telemetry, and driving rapid incident response. Lead field deployment campaigns for remote sites, troubleshoot and perform root-cause analysis across RF/power/networking/mechanical subsystems, and partner with product/manufacturing/test to improve reliability. Also scale contractor and partner operations, including SLAs and maintenance strategies.

Key Responsibilities

•Own fleet uptime and performance by deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting antennas, and writing analyses on performance trends and uptime data.
•Operate and grow the Network Operations Center by monitoring site health, interpreting telemetry, sending commands/configurations, and driving rapid detection and response.
•Lead hardware deployment campaigns at remote sites, acting as the on-site point of contact for deployments and site checkouts from pre-deploy through first contact.
•Investigate and troubleshoot failures with root-cause analysis, implementing fixes to reduce recurrence and developing deep expertise in RF, power, networking, or mechanical subsystems.
•Scale the global contractor ecosystem by sourcing, contracting, and onboarding regional partners and defining maintenance/sparing strategies and SLAs.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 100,000 - 175,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or related engineering discipline.
•Experience building, testing, operating, or diagnosing complex electrical or mechanical systems.
•Comfort writing and running code (e.g., Python, SQL, or other scripting languages).
•Experience operating hardware systems in a live environment, including interpreting telemetry and troubleshooting in real time.
•Proficiency in 2D or 3D CAD for modeling and/or drawing creation.
