Job Summary

Provide on-site technical support for the installation, start-up, and operation of distributed control systems and related control equipment at customer sites. You’ll instruct and support customer personnel, direct installation and maintenance activities, deliver engineering advisory support, and write clear, timely reports. The role combines controls automation troubleshooting with hands-on work involving application software loading and networking equipment, based out of the Southeast regional office in Charlotte, NC.

•Support installation, start-up, and operation of distributed control systems and related control equipment at customer locations.
•Provide on-site instruction to customer personnel and help write/modify maintenance procedures.
•Direct customer efforts for installation, routine modification, or repair of control systems and subsystems.
•Deliver engineering advisory assistance and act as a liaison between customer needs and internal teams.
•Create complete, timely activity reports highlighting problems encountered and services provided.

•Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field, or equivalent education and experience.

•Ability to analyze problems using information from multiple sources while supporting internal and customer relationships.
