Key Responsibilities

  • •Follow safety policies and PPE requirements, and support Environmental Health & Safety programs in compliance with regulations.
  • •Review production orders and reports discrepancies of product specifications to the line Foreman.
  • •Remove finished product from winders, verify weight, band cartons/product to skid, and apply identification labels while keeping required records.
  • •Ensure quality is in accordance with work order specifications and maintain careful, damage-free handling.
  • •Maintain housekeeping and inspect the production area for hazards and equipment safeguards.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED (previous manufacturing experience is a plus).
  • •Able to work in a production environment and monitor machine quality.
  • •Comfortable reading and understanding measuring devices and performing functional math (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing).
  • •Ability to communicate with coworkers about issues and activities.
  • •Physical ability to handle materials and perform tasks during a 12-hour shift, including climbing/descending stairs in tower areas.
