Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct large-scale data analysis end-to-end: define analytic approaches, extract and explore data, and translate results into actionable items.
  • •Develop, deploy, and optimize ML and statistical models for transaction monitoring and risk scoring to improve alert quality and investigation workflows.
  • •Tune and evaluate models using large datasets to improve performance, efficiency, and robustness, using appropriate metrics and statistical analysis.
  • •Supervise and collaborate with the Model Risk Management team to support model validations and ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance.
  • •Prepare technical documentation, review model reports, and communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to technology and business stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 2+ years with an advanced degree (or 0 years with a PhD), or 8+ years relevant work experience.
  • •6+ years of experience in data science, statistical analysis, research, data mining, or trend analysis.
  • •6+ years of experience developing and implementing machine learning models using tools such as SAS, SQL, Python/R, Hive, and/or Spark.
  • •Experience building predictive and descriptive statistical models using algorithms such as logistic regression, random forests, SVMs, XGBoost, and CNNs/RNNs.
  • •Strong compliance domain knowledge for transaction monitoring, screening, and client due diligence.
