Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and expand commercially profitable client relationships across the Nordics Institutional segment.
  • •Deliver the Nordics Sales & Distribution strategy (Pensions & Insurance) to drive revenue growth across traditional and alternative asset classes.
  • •Build and grow HSBC Asset Management’s institutional client footprint across the Nordics through consistent market engagement.
  • •Drive disciplined sales management, including pipeline development, account planning, CRM hygiene, and performance tracking.
  • •Partner with investment, marketing, operations, product and specialist teams (e.g., Liquidity, Alternatives, ETFs) to deliver holistic, client-led solutions while operating within risk management, regulatory compliance, FCC, and HSBC Global Standards.

  • •Strong understanding of institutional investor needs in the Nordics (pensions, insurance and related segments) and translating them into investment solutions.
  • •Proven capability to sell alternative investments, with particular strength in alternative credit.
  • •Demonstrable senior stakeholder management, influencing and presenting with credibility (“gravitas”).
  • •Commercial, results-driven approach with disciplined sales execution (pipeline management, account planning, CRM rigour).
