Key Responsibilities

  • •Own end-to-end technical architecture of the AI & agentic platform’s five-layer stack and drive architectural evolution across agent runtime, model gateway, integration fabric, identity layer, and infrastructure backbone.
  • •Architect interoperable agentic runtime support for multi-protocol stacks (MCP, A2A, ACP) and enable hyperscaler agent-fabric integration (Azure AI Foundry agents, AWS Bedrock Agents, Google ADK).
  • •Design and engineer the LLM gateway/model abstraction layer with routing, fallback/retries, caching, rate limiting, token accounting, and tenant isolation.
  • •Lead platform integrations between the AI platform and the bank’s core estate, including core banking, payments, treasury, credit/risk systems, data platforms, enterprise APIs, ESB, and event streaming.
  • •Lead cloud and run-state engineering across Azure and AWS, including infrastructure-as-code, Kubernetes orchestration, SRE (SLOs/error budgets, observability, incident response), and shared on-call execution in a two-in-a-box model.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years in software and platform engineering at senior/staff/principal/architect level, with production ownership for enterprise-scale platform services.
  • •Deep expertise in agentic AI architecture and multi-protocol stack (MCP, A2A, ACP), including orchestration frameworks, planning/reasoning loops, agent memory, and evaluation harnesses.
  • •Strong LLM gateway and model abstraction skills: unified provider interfaces, intelligent routing/fallback/retries, prompt/semantic caching, rate limiting, token accounting, and tenant isolation.
  • •Expertise in retrieval and knowledge architecture (vector databases, hybrid retrieval, reranking, embeddings, knowledge graphs) and context engineering at scale.
  • •Cloud-native platform engineering and SRE background on Azure (preferred) and AWS, including Terraform, AKS/EKS, CI/CD, observability (OpenTelemetry/Prometheus/Grafana/Datadog), and on-call/incident leadership.
