Job Summary

Support Philips customers across the Northwest by installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing DXR and CT imaging systems. Work independently and with a regional team to perform corrective and preventative maintenance, upgrades, and field change orders. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hardware, software, and network issues, maintain accurate service documentation, and minimize downtime while delivering excellent customer support. Participate in an on-call rota and uphold quality, regulatory, and health & safety requirements.

•Provide advanced technical support and guidance to customers and colleagues in line with training and product competencies.
•Install, maintain, perform preventative/corrective maintenance, and complete upgrades and field change orders on complex DXR and CT systems.
•Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hardware, software, and network-related issues using technical documentation and established procedures.
•Identify cost-efficient solutions that minimize customer downtime and maximize system availability.
•Maintain accurate service records and documentation and ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, health & safety, and customer site requirements.

Salary: GBP 36,000 - 57,000 annually

Key Requirements

•HNC/HND (NVQ Level 3 or above) plus a degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Engineering, or an equivalent technical discipline.
•Proven experience diagnosing and repairing complex medical, imaging, electronic, or electromechanical systems.
•Strong logical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in the field.
•Experience supporting MRI systems is highly desirable; experience with other advanced imaging modalities is also considered.
•Good understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, system connectivity, cybersecurity principles, and remote diagnostics.
