Job Summary

Hardware Systems Engineer to support SATCOM hardware/software in a 24/7 operations environment at Andrews AFB. You’ll perform O&M on complex systems, document anomalies, cross-train teammates, and support tests, with rotating day/night shifts and physical tasks such as elevated work and lifting up to 40 lbs. Requires TS/SCI CI Poly clearance and US citizenship.

Key Responsibilities

•Operations and maintenance (O&M) of complex software and hardware systems.
•Report and document anomalous performance and interact with other team members to perform corrective actions.
•Crosstrain in other assigned areas and assist with the training of other personnel on the contract team.
•Support test and/or operational activities as necessary.
•Work in elevated heights and lift 40 lbs safely.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 2 years of engineering experience or equivalent experience.
•Experience in SATCOM, IT Systems and/or RF test equipment.
•Experience assigning tasks to meet technical objectives.
•Experience solving problems in time-critical situations.
•Active and transferable TS/SCI CI Poly U.S. government issued security clearance is required; U.S. citizenship required.
