Job Summary

Serve as an onsite prelicensure clinical instructor for nursing students in the Charlotte, NC region. Teach, mentor, and evaluate students during experiential clinical course work through in-person and remote methods, coordinating with coaches/preceptors to support progress and clinical success. Maintain current expertise, foster learning using innovative teaching practices, submit electronic clinical evaluations, and ensure students comply with relevant state regulations and program philosophy.

Key Responsibilities

•Teach and mentor nursing students during experiential clinical course work in a remote/onsite environment.
•Serve as a professional role model through communication, ethical conduct, and problem-solving.
•Foster learning using innovative teaching practices for clinical duties and support students’ competency development.
•Coordinate with the student’s assigned coach/preceptor and make appropriate referrals for remediation.
•Provide final review and approval for students’ clinical time, including submitting electronic clinical evaluation forms.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 38.79 - 58.17 hourly

Key Requirements

•Master's degree in nursing; education is verified.
•Two years minimum nursing experience.
•Unencumbered RN license.
•Active, unencumbered license in the designated state.
