Job Summary

Provide expert guidance on mechanical engineering software tools across the Client Solutions Group. Lead CSG tooling strategy, serve as SME for PTC Creo Parametric and PTC Windchill, and drive CAD governance and standardization. Offer hands-on support by debugging Creo, Windchill, and ANSYS issues, while mentoring engineers and creating training, best practices, and standardized workflows. Partner to support digital thread and digital twin initiatives via Windchill–Creo connectivity.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead CSG mechanical engineering tooling strategy by shaping organizational direction, forecasting tool needs and budgets, and partnering with Infrastructure Solutions Group to prioritize enterprise tool efforts.
•Serve as SME on PTC Creo Parametric and PTC Windchill, driving CAD governance and standardization while evaluating new PTC versions and recommending adoption strategies.
•Provide hands-on engineering support as first responder for Creo, Windchill, ANSYS, and related tool issues, debugging alongside engineers and mentoring junior engineers.
•Plan and drive PTC education and training requirements by creating and socializing best practices, work instructions, and standardized workflows.
•Partner with organizations on Windchill & Creo connectivity to support digital thread, digital twin, and model-based engineering initiatives across internal, ODM, and hybrid development models.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 229,500 - 297,000

Key Requirements

•12+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or engineering tools administration with deep expertise in PTC Creo Parametric and PTC Windchill.
•Strong understanding of GD&T, engineering drawing practices, product lifecycles, and familiarity with digital thread/digital twin concepts and development models.
•Proven ability to debug Creo, Windchill, ANSYS, and related tool issues with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Demonstrated leadership and influence to drive CAD governance across organizational boundaries and align senior executives on tooling investments.
•Excellent communication and mentoring skills to create and deliver training programs, best practices documentation, and work instructions.
