Key Responsibilities

  • •Stand up and own the first unified data warehouse end to end, including modeling, pipelines, data quality, and performance.
  • •Consolidate production Postgres and SaaS data into a single source of truth, then push clean data back into team workflows.
  • •Design performant data models with clear lineage, standardized naming, and documentation to enable self-serve BI.
  • •Build internal data tools using applied AI/agents to turn recurring questions into self-serve answers.
  • •Own data quality, governance, and security from day one, and define data engineering practices and standards for the future team.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 150,000 - 250,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years in data engineering and business analytics, with hands-on experience building and maintaining data warehouses and pipelines.
  • •Expert SQL with hands-on PostgreSQL experience, plus strong Python for pipeline development, scripting, and tooling.
  • •Experience standing up a modern data warehouse/lakehouse from scratch (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks) and building ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like Fivetran and dbt.
  • •Hands-on AWS experience and infrastructure as code with Terraform for cloud data infrastructure.
  • •Demonstrated end-to-end ownership and independent judgment, ideally as an early/first data hire.
