Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and own next-generation multi-tenant cloud-native distributed infrastructure from zero to scale, establishing engineering design patterns across the organization.
  • •Set tier-0 production standards through multi-region fault tolerance, advanced disaster recovery, and deep observability to achieve five-nines availability at scale.
  • •Design and optimize backend services, high-throughput streaming pipelines, and microservices capable of handling millions of concurrent connections.
  • •Lead architectural refactoring and performance tuning across kernel/OS interactions, network protocols, memory management, and database query execution paths.
  • •Drive cross-functional alignment and engineering governance, including service meshes, rate-limiting, circuit breakers, failover protocols, and chaos engineering practices.

Key Requirements

  • •9+ years of progressive software systems engineering experience, progressing into staff-level or principal-level architectural responsibilities in high-growth product organizations.
  • •Demonstrated track record designing and shipping high-scale, enterprise-grade SaaS infrastructure with major architectural evolutionary cycles.
  • •Strong distributed systems expertise, including CAP theorem, consensus protocols (Raft/Paxos), replication, partitioning, and sharding.
  • •Master-level fluency in backend systems languages (e.g., Go, Java, Rust, C++), plus concurrent programming and low-latency microservices design.
  • •Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a highly quantitative technical field.
