Job Summary

Oversee the planning, specification development, selection, and deployment of terminal handling equipment and technical assets for international port and logistics projects. Develop engineering concepts and layouts, support FEED and tender packages, and run feasibility and performance analyses to improve efficiency, reliability, and safety. Lead technical procurement support across supplier qualification to FAT/SAT and commissioning, ensure compliance with international standards, and develop lifecycle maintenance and strategy, including continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead planning, specification development, selection, and deployment of terminal handling equipment and technical assets across international port and logistics projects.
•Develop technical equipment concepts, layouts, and engineering solutions aligned with operational requirements, terminal design, and business objectives.
•Support FEED and terminal development by defining equipment requirements, capacities, quantities, and operational interfaces; structure tender packages and master planning inputs.
•Conduct technical evaluations, feasibility assessments, and equipment performance analyses to optimize efficiency, reliability, and safety.
•Manage equipment procurement and delivery lifecycle activities (supplier qualification, bid evaluations, FAT/SAT, commissioning, handover, warranty) while ensuring compliance with international standards and developing lifecycle maintenance strategies.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, or Marine Engineering (master’s degree or equivalent is a plus).
•Professional Engineering (PE) certification or equivalent preferred.
•8+ years of experience in port and maritime equipment engineering, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
•Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and relevant engineering tools (desired).
•In-depth knowledge of port and maritime equipment engineering principles, standards, and best practices, including compliance and safety awareness.
