Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with the Project Manager to manage the contract with external design consultants and take appropriate action as needed.
  • •Manage multi-disciplinary engineering teams (from consultants and partner companies) to deliver project solutions at the required design level.
  • •Evaluate designs and engineering solutions and ensure design input supports delivery from early concepts to completion.
  • •Collaborate with technical, operational, maintenance, and strategic stakeholders and design coordinators.
  • •Liaise with clients, Engineering Managers, Project Managers, contractors, and consultants on project issues, scope changes, and risks.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 5 years of design and management experience.
  • •Around 5 years managing design through the full project lifecycle across multiple sectors and procurement routes.
  • •Strong understanding of integrated design delivery and managing consultant performance.
  • •Knowledge and experience of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and common data environments.
  • •Degree/HNC qualified (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline (Civil, Mechanical or Electrical) plus CAD experience (AutoCAD or Revit).
