Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures across abdominal, vascular, musculoskeletal, and other specialty scans as required.
  • •Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal image quality and patient safety.
  • •Capture diagnostic images, identify normal/abnormal findings, and provide preliminary observations for physician interpretation.
  • •Prepare patients, explain procedures, monitor condition during examinations, and respond to adverse reactions.
  • •Maintain accurate patient records and update imaging data in PACS and hospital information systems while following infection control and safety protocols.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Radiography, Radiologic Technology, or Medical/Diagnostic Imaging.
  • •Minimum 2–5 years post-qualification experience in sonography or diagnostic imaging.
  • •Valid DOH (Abu Dhabi) license as a Radiography Technologist / Sonographer.
  • •Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • •Additional certification in Sonography or relevant specialty is preferred (ACLS/PALS may be required based on specialty).
