Job Summary

Senior Data Engineer within Salesforce’s Data & Analytics organization, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, build, and operate scalable data pipelines and data platforms that support analytics, BI, and AI-powered features. You’ll work on retrieval systems, inference infrastructure, identity graphs, and data architecture to ensure data quality, latency, and reliability for AI-powered customer success initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and implement robust data pipelines and retrieval systems that support AI agents and analytics across the Salesforce data ecosystem.
•Partner with Decision Scientists and engineers to build infrastructure for attribution, causal modeling, and AI-powered data delivery.
•Develop and maintain identity graphs and cross-functional data architectures with real-time insights for agentic systems and human-facing applications.
•Lead modernization of data architecture, cataloging, and data governance to enable scalable AI consumption and human augmentation.
•Drive automation and enforce high data quality, low latency, and up-to-date indexing to deliver reliable, real-time insights.

Key Requirements

•6+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role
•Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Spark
•Strong understanding of database concepts, data modeling, and ETL processes with tools like Airflow, dbt, Informatica, etc.
•Experience with cloud-based data solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
•Experience with the Salesforce Ecosystem, specifically Data Cloud
