Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the technical strategy and architecture for inventory and logistics tools and repair management software.
  • •Lead an engineering organisation of approximately 25 engineers, including managers, QA, SRE, and Data Engineering.
  • •Drive platformisation of inventory and supply chain systems so operational data is visible, trustworthy, and consistent across millions of terminals.
  • •Define architecture standards, engineering processes, and quality metrics across squads to ensure reliability and data integrity.
  • •Bridge operational practice and software systems by translating operational requirements into engineering solutions and hiring, mentoring, and developing engineering managers and senior engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •10–15 years of overall software engineering experience with at least 5 years leading engineering teams through growth phases.
  • •At least 5 years of hands-on, production-level Java experience (writing and shipping Java as a practising engineer).
  • •At least 5 years of experience managing managers and leading organizations through other engineering leaders.
  • •Deep hands-on experience in supply chain, inventory, warehouse, or logistics software at scale.
  • •Experience designing and scaling distributed backend systems for device management, including managing large teams of 20+ members.
