Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide leadership, mentorship, and development for store associates and direct reports.
  • •Deliver sales and profitability goals and maintain P&L accountability for expenses, receivables, sales, and payroll budgets.
  • •Ensure adherence to company practices, operational policies, procedures, and regulated safety compliance.
  • •Oversee store operations including inventory management, merchandising, receiving/dispatch coordination, and maintaining store and yard standards.
  • •Proactively assist customers, manage complaints, implement processes to mitigate inventory shrink, and identify store maintenance issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Previous retail management experience (2+ years preferred), preferably in a lumber or home center environment.
  • •Proven experience leading and supervising team members, with the ability to build and maintain business relationships.
  • •Strong understanding of P&L metrics and executing on KPIs to drive profit.
  • •Operational expertise in inventory control, including training associates on proper inventory techniques and guidelines.
  • •Proficiency with electronic technology and Google applications, with ability to learn and implement new technology; ability to work 45+ hours per week.
