Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide personal financial counseling and management services directly to service members and their families.
  • •Assist service members in establishing a spending plan for extended absences.
  • •Develop and distribute informational financial materials to service members and families.
  • •Coordinate, publicize and conduct Personal Financial Management classes/workshops across the military lifecycle.
  • •Utilize virtual counseling or other electronic modes of communication when needed.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: 58,440 - 93,500 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree required; may consider an associate degree plus 4 years of experience in lieu of bachelor's
  • •3+ years of financial counseling experience
  • •Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English
  • •If required by the contract, bilingual in English and Spanish
  • •Must have one of the following certifications: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC)
