Key Responsibilities

  • •Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and following Tyson policies.
  • •Keep machines maintained and clean, and ensure equipment is properly utilized.
  • •Operate and set up/shut down specialized and automated equipment; use required hand tools, power tools, and machinery as needed.
  • •Enter data into handheld computer systems and follow Tyson preventive maintenance procedures.
  • •Work with contractors and complete required training to properly operate equipment.

Key Requirements

  • •6 months operator experience with one employer in the previous 12 months.
  • •3 to 5 years of related experience with at least 3 years in an industrial setting.
  • •High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational diploma preferred (or equivalent experience/education in a related field).
  • •Ability to perform physical job requirements and work safely in dusty, cold, damp, or hot/humid environments with slippery surfaces.
  • •Ability to fabricate by welding and cutting and read/write to follow Tyson preventive maintenance program.
