Assistant Plant Breeder (Popcorn)

Support the popcorn breeding program by assisting with field, laboratory, and office-based research activities. Help execute breeding initiatives, perform nursery pollination, harvest and evaluate yield trials, and safely operate seed-processing equipment. Collect, organize, and summarize research data, maintain seed inventories and supply levels, and document standard operating procedures. Use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to manage data and communicate results to the popcorn breeding leadership team.
