Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and lead a team of ~8 technicians, including approving hours/PTO, prioritizing work, and running regular 1:1s and performance feedback.
  • •Own build execution from start to finish, ensuring builds are complete on schedule and meet quality standards with final inspection and sign-off.
  • •Upskill the team through hands-on coaching, onboarding, and building technical and process capabilities.
  • •Support mechanical and software engineering teams in assembly and testing, translating engineering intent into clear build instructions.
  • •Maintain engineering documentation (assembly instructions and SOPs), organize the workshop, and drive continuous-improvement and safety culture initiatives.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 90,000 - 120,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •At least 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical and/or electrical assembly, including experience leading or mentoring technicians.
  • •Strong mechanical, electrical, equipment, and safety intuition developed through personal or professional projects.
  • •Comfort interpreting schematics/CAD drawings and assembling complex electromechanical systems independently.
  • •Positive attitude, and enjoy working in-person while motivating a small team.
  • •Willingness to follow safety procedures and reinforce a strong and healthy culture of safety.
