Oversee preventive maintenance for heavy construction equipment in line with company policy and OEM recommendations. Support parts management by tracking parts and consumables purchases, and prepare reports and cost/material/equipment estimates while coordinating effectively with other departments.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure the preventive maintenance plan is carried out per company policy and OEM recommendations.
•Provide technical support to subordinates.
•Conduct regular site visits to confirm equipment is utilized and serviced per OEM specifications.
•Ensure NMDC equipment is maintained and repaired according to OEM recommendations.
•Plan, assign, and supervise the work of subordinates; manage parts and follow up on parts and consumables purchases.

Key Requirements

•Extensive experience with construction equipment maintenance and repair, preferably with a dealership.
•Hands-on experience as a heavy equipment mechanic.
•Knowledge of hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and drive trains.
•Awareness of occupational hazards and the safety precautions applicable to the work.
•Good command of the English language.
