Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan, organize, direct, and control chemistry resources and work activities, including work order activities and PM/surveillance work order updates.
  • •Provide oversight of laboratory analysis data and support procedure development/reviews with Operation Support.
  • •Plan and direct staff chemists across Primary Chemistry, Secondary Chemistry, Radiochemistry, Closed Cooling Systems, and Water Production.
  • •Interface with industry and regulatory groups including USNRC, INPO, and EPRI.
  • •Coordinate staff training and development and oversee chemistry control of plant systems to meet regulatory and industry requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or equivalent) plus two years technical (plant operation or chemistry related) training.
  • •Four years experience in the chemistry field, including at least two years of nuclear chemistry experience.
  • •Strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate with a variety of personnel (bargaining unit, non-exempt, and exempt).
  • •Project management skills.
  • •Ability to guide and lead subordinate chemists and oversee chemistry resources and work activities.
