Key Responsibilities

  • •Innovate and develop a power-efficient, low-latency, highly intelligent all-day machine perception vision system.
  • •Develop training and data collection/generation pipelines and apply state-of-the-art ML algorithms/frameworks for scene and user behavior understanding.
  • •Map ML algorithms to hardware accelerators, identify performance bottlenecks, optimize performance/efficiency, and propose HW/SW co-design improvements.
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate system requirements into cloud-edge workload partitioning and edge ML accelerator HW/SW requirements.
  • •Perform quantitative evaluations using system modeling and sensor/SoC/software co-design influence.

Key Requirements

  • •Currently pursuing a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
  • •Research experience in computer vision and/or edge ML perception algorithms and/or AI accelerator design.
  • •Programming experience with C/C++, MATLAB, and Python.
  • •Familiarity with ML frameworks and model deployment.
  • •Experience with image sensors and ISP.
