Maintain and troubleshoot Cerebras’ on-premise server and high-speed networking infrastructure in an in-person data center setting. Install and rack blade servers, configure BIOS/firmware and out-of-band management, and provision Linux systems with correct networking and NFS mounts. Diagnose physical and OS-level network issues using Linux tools, automate routine tasks with Bash/Python, and coordinate with network, systems, and storage teams while documenting changes and asset records.

Key Responsibilities

•Physically install, rack, cable, and maintain blade servers and hardware components (CPUs, DIMMs, NICs, storage devices).
•Connect servers to 100G/400G networks, verify optics/DACs, and check link status.
•Configure BIOS, firmware, and out-of-band management (IPMI/iDRAC/iLO).
•Install and provision Linux OS, configure hostnames/IPs/routing, and set up NFS mount points.
•Debug network issues across physical and OS layers and use Linux tools (ip, dmesg, netstat, ping) to isolate and resolve problems.

Key Requirements

•3–5+ years of experience in data center, lab, or infrastructure engineering roles.
•Proficient in Linux system administration and network configuration.
•Strong hands-on knowledge of x86 server hardware and enterprise networking.
•Experience configuring BIOS, firmware updates, and remote management tools.
•Ability to write automation/diagnostic scripts (Bash, Python preferred).
