Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform installation tasks for contracted projects, including cable pulls, cable terminations, equipment/component installation, rack fabrication, and wiring layouts.
  • •Lead and direct installation crews on larger, more complex projects by coordinating/reporting progress to the Project Manager to meet time, scope, budget, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction requirements.
  • •Demonstrate job site leadership by mentoring Level 1 and Level 2 technicians and verifying quality of work.
  • •Test point-to-point cabling and system functionality; diagnose and resolve technical issues; support engineers/programmers with minor programming changes when needed.
  • •Serve as customer liaison on site, communicate daily status, coordinate with other trades, manage and secure jobsite tools/equipment, and provide client training as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 4–6 years of audiovisual, electronics, or related industry installation experience.
  • •Valid AVIXA CTS General Certification required.
  • •Advanced ability to install, terminate, and troubleshoot low-voltage cabling (e.g., HDMI, CAT5e/6, fiber optic) and wiring methods (conduit runs, cable trays).
  • •Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints, and use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • •Valid driver’s license and a high school diploma or equivalent required; ability to lead/mentor junior technicians and meet deadlines.
