Job Summary

Oversee the day-to-day operations of a building materials distribution yard, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, delivery, inventory accuracy, business metrics, and safety. Manage cycle counting and delivery execution, ensure damaged materials are handled, and coordinate material transfers between yards. Lead and coordinate team activities, collaborate across departments to improve productivity, maintain service levels, and support customer/order communication while driving continuous process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage successful day-to-day operations including planning, budgeting, scheduling, delivery, inventory accuracy, business metrics, and safety.
•Maintain appropriate inventory levels; oversee monthly cycle counting and delivery close-out procedures.
•Oversee delivery personnel compliance with OSHA and GMS policies and perform weekly/monthly management safety reviews.
•Coordinate daily activities of team members and set, maintain, and continuously improve performance plans.
•Collaborate across departments to drive productivity improvements; maintain service levels and handle customer/order communication, including preparing and tracking lien releases.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree.
