Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the Captain in maintaining ultimate responsibility and accountability for safe aircraft, crew, passenger, and cargo operations with UAE GCAA and international compliance.
  • •Perform delegated flight duties in line with flydubai policies, aviation regulations, safety standards, and Crew Resource Management (CRM).
  • •Execute duties precisely using Operations Manuals and SOPs; propose alternative actions when needed guided by CRM principles.
  • •Monitor airplane systems, performance, and navigation; address irregularities and ensure adherence to the flight plan; identify, document, and report incidents or SOP breaches.
  • •Conduct pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight checks for emergency systems and flight deck equipment, coordinating responsibility from boarding to shut down and alerting the commander of irregularities.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma
  • •Fluent in English and ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 or above
  • •Minimum 2,500 hours total flying time; minimum 1,000 hours on modern (EFIS), multi-crew, multi-engine aircraft over 10 tonnes (PIC time preferable)
  • •Minimum 1,500 hours MPA (multi-pilot aircraft) flying time
  • •Unrestricted Class 1 Pilot Medical Certificate and ICAO Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL)
