Key Responsibilities

  • •Build first-principles pricing for utilities and water sector projects, including facilities, civils, and pipework.
  • •Quantify from design information and collaborate with engineers to ensure estimation precision.
  • •Validate quantities and pricing from suppliers and contractors, and source/review quotations with negotiations.
  • •Assess and price project risks during early project stages.
  • •Structure estimates and produce bills of quantities/materials; prepare reports and present findings to stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of industry experience, ideally in water utilities and related sectors.
  • •Strong water/electrical estimating knowledge, including first-principles estimating for water and wastewater projects.
  • •Relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, Engineering, or similar.
  • •Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; Power BI and CSS Candy/Quantum experience is advantageous.
  • •Consultancy experience and contractor-side knowledge, with strong analytical and communication skills.
