Job Summary

Lead electrical design for single- and multi-disciplinary building services projects across sectors such as transport, defence, data centres, commercial, and health. You’ll manage small to medium design packages within larger programs, ensure best-practice delivery, and support larger efforts on costs, timelines, and quality. Partner with external clients and authorities, build long-term relationships, and help grow the Melbourne Building Services team and broader business goals.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide electrical design leadership across single and multi-disciplinary projects.
•Lead small to medium engineering design projects and support larger, complex projects to deliver effectively.
•Coordinate clear communication with external clients and authorities and with internal colleagues and managers.
•Apply best practices to achieve optimal outcomes, saving time and reducing costs without compromising quality.
•Build long-term client relationships and identify business development opportunities.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor of Electrical Engineering.
•7–10+ years delivering Australian building services projects, preferably within consulting.
•Experience managing multiple concurrent projects across different scales and sectors.
•Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and Codes, including AS/NZS 3000 and NCC.
•Eligibility for, or registration on, the National Engineering Register (NER) and/or work toward CPEng status.
