Job Summary

Join Apollo.io's Finance team as a Senior Accountant, Revenue, owning ASC 606 revenue recognition for a high-volume SaaS business. You’ll reconcile revenue data across Salesforce/Stripe, run SQL queries in Snowflake, and partner with Legal, Revenue Ops, and Billings to drive accurate, scalable revenue processes and audits. You’ll influence month-end close, improve documentation, and help scale finance systems in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Own revenue recognition under ASC 606 and support month-end revenue close with related journal entries.
•Reconcile revenue sub-ledger to the general ledger across Salesforce, Stripe, and contract management systems in a high-volume environment.
•Run SQL queries to extract and analyze revenue data from the data warehouse (Snowflake) and support reconciliations and ad hoc investigations.
•Identify and investigate data anomalies; escalate systemic issues and partner with Billing, Finance Systems, and Rev Ops to resolve root causes.
•Collaborate with Finance Systems, Revenue Operations, Legal, and Billing on contract review and order-to-cash process design.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting;
•3–5 years of relevant accounting experience with meaningful focus on revenue accounting;
•Strong working knowledge of ASC 606, including contract review;
•Experience working with high transaction volumes and the ability to navigate messy, ambiguous data;
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear communication;
