Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform daily electrical maintenance and routine preventative maintenance according to schedules and ACWA NOMAC procedures.
  • •Monitor equipment condition, report non-conformances, and carry out corrective actions after electrical failures to reduce downtime.
  • •Troubleshoot electrical faults using diagnosis, repair, and testing methods; read manuals and wiring diagrams to support maintenance.
  • •Align, adjust, calibrate equipment to specifications and maintain records of repairs, calibrations, and tests.
  • •Lead HV/MV maintenance PM execution (including outage experience for critical equipment), maintain maintenance logbooks, and coordinate with engineers, supervisors, contractors, and vendors.

Key Requirements

  • •Technical certificate or Associate’s Diploma in electrical maintenance.
  • •2–5 years’ experience in electrical maintenance as a technician/supervisor in installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment in a plant environment.
  • •Knowledge of testing/commissioning for BESS, HV and MV systems.
  • •Strong substation equipment knowledge (transformers, circuit breakers, protective relays, control systems), with 220 kV experience preferred.
  • •Experience with BESS/HV/MV maintenance including PM planning/execution and ability to lead a team of 4 to 6; basic PV/BESS SCADA knowledge is preferred.
