Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with the water quality team to expand and strengthen data processing and visualization tools.
  • •Collaborate with environmental digitization and database teams to grow data tooling capabilities.
  • •Update and troubleshoot tool functions by interpreting and modifying existing code.
  • •Lead the development of Power BI dashboards to visualize environmental data for mining projects.
  • •Support water quality guideline updates, manage new versions of data processing tools, and train/mentor the team.

Key Requirements

  • •A university degree in environmental sciences, computer science, or software development.
  • •Environmental data management experience with a related technical background.
  • •Track record using R, Python, and VBA to develop data management, assessment, and visualization tools.
  • •Strong understanding of DAX and data modelling patterns, and experience sharing reports with external users.
  • •Experience ingesting and consolidating data from external sources using Power Query.
