Job Summary

Senior placements leader within Aon’s Financial Services Group (Global & Corporate) in Sydney. You will advise on complex Financial Lines risk transfer for ASX 200 and large private clients, lead and mentor the placement team, negotiate with underwriters, and shape market engagement while leveraging global networks to deliver market-leading risk transfer solutions.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide Financial Lines technical advice and placement guidance to Aon’s Global & Corporate clients in New South Wales, leading and mentoring Placement Managers and Placement Executives.
•Coordinate the broader placement team to deliver cohesive risk transfer strategies specific to Financial Lines.
•Lead negotiations with underwriters and senior executives within carrier partners to secure optimal terms.
•Contribute to and implement market engagement strategies, maintaining strong relationships with local and international markets.
•Shape and refine policy structures and wordings to address emerging financial lines risks and client-specific requirements, using data & analytics to inform decision-making.

Key Requirements

•Extensive experience within the Financial Lines insurance market with a focus on risk identification and risk transfer for financial lines risk exposures.
•Strong technical understanding of Financial Lines products and risk solutions, including PI, D&O and Crime.
•Demonstrated success in managing team relationships and senior-level client relationships.
•Proven experience structuring and placing Directors’ & Officers’ Liability and Professional Indemnity programs for ASX-listed companies.
•Outstanding negotiation and communication skills with the ability to engage at senior levels with clients, markets and internal stakeholders
