Key Responsibilities

  • •Repair, overhaul, assemble, test, and install electronic/electro-mechanical equipment and components to return items to serviceable status.
  • •Perform troubleshooting, fault isolation, and replacement of failed Line Replaceable Units (LRUs), followed by calibration, testing, and certification.
  • •Install and maintain NAS radomes and electronic/mechanical systems on NAS and inter-agency systems.
  • •Conduct tower/radome work including installation, maintenance, and structural inspection at heights over 50 feet (up to 750 feet).
  • •Enter daily time into Data Collection and Reporting System (DCRS) and prepare assets for shipment; travel up to 70% for field support and emergency callouts as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma plus an associate degree in electrical or engineering technology, or equivalent technical training.
  • •Troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical/electronic/mechanical systems, subsystems, and components, including adjustment, testing, and certification processes.
  • •Pass a required physical fitness evaluation with minimum 125 lbs and maximum 290 lbs weight restrictions.
  • •Obtain NACI clearance/ability to obtain Public Trust.
  • •Maintain ability to work at heights and perform safety-related training and courses.
