Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate and monitor SWRO plant processes through DCS/SCADA systems, controlling intake, pretreatment, DAF/ultrafiltration, high-pressure pumps, RO trains, chemical dosing, and product water distribution.
  • •Respond to alarms and process deviations and take corrective actions to maintain stable operation.
  • •Record operational data, prepare shift reports, monitor water quality parameters, analyze performance trends, and maintain operational logs.
  • •Coordinate with field operators during plant start-up, shutdown, and emergency situations, supervising field activities and communicating operational changes.
  • •Assist maintenance teams during troubleshooting and equipment isolation, participate in instrument/process equipment calibration, and support preventive maintenance activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Diploma or degree in chemical, mechanical, electrical engineering, process technology, or water treatment technology.
  • •Typically 3–5+ years operating SWRO desalination plants (50 MLD or above) or other water/wastewater treatment and process industries.
  • •Experience operating DCS, SCADA, and PLC systems.
  • •Knowledge of water treatment chemistry and chemical dosing systems.
  • •Technical or trade qualification with relevant desalination experience may also be accepted.
