Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide day-to-day technical direction, coaching, and task coordination for Field Quality Technicians supporting vehicle investigations.
  • •Lead advanced diagnosis, maintenance, repair, and upgrades of vehicles and engineering test vehicles; conduct complex investigations across vehicle systems.
  • •Perform and lead root-cause investigations with evidence preservation, analyze diagnostic data and logs, and document findings and next steps.
  • •Validate containment and permanent corrective actions, engineering changes, repair procedures, and software releases; support campaigns and field monitoring.
  • •Ensure safe operation of tools and high-voltage systems and maintain accurate work orders, data traceability, and high-quality technical documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or GED, plus an automotive technician degree/certification or equivalent experience.
  • •Seven years of experience in automotive diagnostics, repair, quality, testing, or technical investigation.
  • •Demonstrated ability to lead technical work, coordinate shop/investigation activities, and mentor technicians.
  • •Knowledge of vehicle electrical and mechanical systems, diagnostic methodologies, and structured problem solving.
  • •Ability to diagnose complex concerns using scan tools, digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, breakout equipment, and related diagnostic tools.
