Job Summary

Direct maintenance crews to install, repair, and perform preventive maintenance across plant equipment, facilities, utilities, and powerhouse systems. Supervise maintenance systems, schedules, and documentation to reduce mechanical downtime and keep production running efficiently. Develop KPIs for maintenance performance and provide troubleshooting support to operating teams. Ensure maintenance work complies with USDA regulations, maintain accurate records, and provide training on safe work methods.

•Lead maintenance teams of mechanics and electricians in predictive/preventive maintenance and machine repair.
•Develop, implement, and supervise maintenance systems, processes, and documentation (including TPM, SOPs, and safety).
•Schedule maintenance work and coordinate with Production to complete equipment and facility repairs.
•Develop and maintain KPIs for maintenance performance and reliability, including equipment effectiveness and third-party contractor performance.
•Train employees on proper work methods and safety procedures; maintain accurate maintenance and inventory records and provide regular status reports.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field plus 2+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination).
•Experience leading others by training, coaching, mentoring, or managing a process/project.
•Advanced technical skills in ammonia refrigeration, high pressure boiler, compressed air, and mechanical/electrical systems (e.g., PLCs, instrumentation).
•Thorough knowledge of maintenance systems, work order processes, preventive/predictive maintenance, TPM, and inventory/scheduling software.
•Strong written and verbal communication; proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
