Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage end-to-end procurement for PDL - DC Pune, including castings, machined components, fabricated parts, fasteners, plastic parts, rubber parts, electrical items, bought-out components, and industrial assemblies.
  • •Release and manage purchase orders, float RFQs, evaluate quotations, and conduct techno-commercial assessments; negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and commercial terms.
  • •Monitor supplier performance metrics (e.g., SDOT, quality, lead time, responsiveness) and drive improvement initiatives.
  • •Coordinate with suppliers, Quality, and Engineering teams to resolve supplier quality issues, manage rejections/claims/non-conformances, and ensure CAPA closure.
  • •Ensure material availability via inventory and material planning, maintain ERP master data, generate procurement/MIS dashboards, and support continuous improvement and digitalization projects.

Key Requirements

  • •BE/Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
  • •3–7 years of experience in Procurement, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Materials Management, or Vendor Development within manufacturing/engineering industries.
  • •Experience sourcing engineering commodities such as castings, machined parts, fabricated components, fasteners, plastics, rubber parts, electrical items, bought-out assemblies, and industrial assemblies.
  • •Hands-on experience with supplier negotiations, supplier development, inventory management, and resolution of quality issues.
  • •Experience working with ERP systems such as D365, SAP, Movex, Oracle (or similar).
