Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead whole-building performance modelling and analysis, including design option evaluations, ASHRAE 90.1 / NECB / TGS energy modelling, daylight simulations, parametric modelling, and embodied carbon analysis
  • •Support clients in achieving net-zero and decarbonization goals through advanced modelling and strategy development
  • •Perform high-level energy analysis for campuses and building portfolios using energy planning tools and AI-driven analytics
  • •Review mechanical, electrical, and architectural drawings and specifications against sustainability and performance targets
  • •Prepare and present technical results and recommendations to clients and project teams

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Building Science, Architecture, or related field
  • •6+ years in the building industry, including 4+ years in energy modelling
  • •Proficiency with IES-VE
  • •Experience with EnergyPlus, eQuest, DesignBuilder, OpenStudio, Trane Trace
  • •Experience with parametric modelling (e.g., Grasshopper, Dynamo)
