Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and oversee day-to-day operations of multiple field crews and ensure adherence to safety and quality guidelines.
  • •Create and maintain field crew schedules across multiple projects and ensure projects complete within communicated schedule/budget.
  • •Read and interpret utility drawings, as-builts, GIS files, and other utility record data; initiate, track, and document utility records requests.
  • •Use advanced geophysical equipment (including Ground Penetrating Radar) and surveying tools (GPS/Total Station) to identify, designate, and locate utilities.
  • •Perform field audits and QA/QC of SUE field data, troubleshoot technical issues in the field, and communicate project information while mentoring junior field staff.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 75,000 - 95,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •BS + 4 years of related experience, OR AS + 6 years, OR High School + 8 years.
  • •SUE and/or private utility locating experience with a demonstrated commitment to quality and attention to detail.
  • •Experience and understanding of SUE practices and procedures in accordance with ASCE 38-02 and 38-22.
  • •Valid U.S. Driver’s License and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.
  • •Ability to travel frequently to field locations (including overnight), perform frequent outdoor work, and lift equipment up to 50 pounds unassisted.
