Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate automation opportunities and drive automation strategy aligned with Eaton quality and safety standards.
  • •Prepare RFQs and work with suppliers to define, develop, and implement automation solutions for PCBA manufacturing.
  • •Identify, evaluate, and document manufacturing processes, assembly technologies, and emerging automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.
  • •Design internal mechanical solutions for automation and translate product design requirements into manufacturable solutions with DFM alignment.
  • •Support shopfloor integration of systems with MES/ERP for traceability and production reporting; lead ramp-up planning (process flow design, line balancing, cycle time, capacity/takt targets) and OPEX/CAPEX/ROI optimization.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Electrical and/or Industrial/Mechanical Engineering.
  • •7+ years of experience as a process or industrial engineer in the EMS sector.
  • •Experience with automation and digitization of manufacturing processes, including new project implementation and transfer.
  • •Hands-on automation solutions for PCBA manufacturing, including integrating robotics into production processes.
  • •Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP) and electronic boards design, with strong process mindset (Lean) and analytical problem-solving skills.
