Key Responsibilities

  • •Own a core area of the XDR roadmap end to end, driving detection, correlation, incident building, and response across endpoint, cloud, identity, and network.
  • •Expand and maintain the telemetry and integrations XDR depends on, correlating across a real environment using first-party and third-party sources.
  • •Contribute to exposure and vulnerability management, including prioritization based on exploitability and reachability and a remediation workflow.
  • •Write high-quality requirements that engineering can act on, translating customer input and Elastic Security Labs threat research into product.
  • •Represent the product in customer conversations with security stakeholders and feed learnings back into the roadmap.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 5 years in security-related technical product management, competitive analysis, or technical marketing, plus a minimum of 3 years in a related product development or technical field.
  • •Experience owning product areas end to end, from requirements through shipped, iterated outcomes.
  • •Hands-on domain knowledge of XDR, EDR, SIEM, incident response, or forensics, with credible discussion of correlation, response, and detection engineering.
  • •Strong analytics and threat understanding, including understanding prioritization for detection and familiarity with AI security (AI/ML/agentic systems) as a plus.
  • •BS or MS degree in engineering, computer science, or information security is required.
