Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide high-quality classroom cover across the Secondary phase as required.
  • •Deliver engaging lessons in line with plans and provided resources to ensure continuity of learning.
  • •Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, well-managed classroom environment where all students feel supported and engaged.
  • •Adapt teaching and support to meet diverse learner needs, including EAL and students requiring additional support.
  • •Maintain high expectations for student behaviour, engagement, and learning, provide feedback to the class teacher, and follow safeguarding and wellbeing policies.

Key Requirements

  • •A recognised professional teaching qualification at degree level (e.g., B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent).
  • •Previous experience teaching in the Secondary phase, ideally in an international school environment.
  • •Experience in an IB curriculum school is preferred but not essential.
  • •Strong classroom management with the ability to adapt quickly to different year groups and learning environments.
  • •Immediate availability to start and provide supply cover as required.
