Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the General Counsel by leading and overseeing international employment law (including pensions, incentives and immigration) across all global markets.
  • •Advise senior business leaders and C‑suite colleagues on sensitive employment matters, including up to and including the CEO.
  • •Lead non‑US employment law work and coordinate globally with US legal colleagues on cross-border issues.
  • •Oversee employment contracts and exit paperwork up to MD level, including disciplinary and grievance processes, redundancy and restructuring.
  • •Manage outside employment counsel relationships worldwide, including associated budgeting and day-to-day employment litigation and compliance support.

Key Requirements

  • •Qualified legal professional in the UK and/or EU.
  • •Significant experience of international employment law and litigation, including working across multiple markets.
  • •Relevant in-house experience providing employment advice to a global business.
  • •Experience advising on the legal, compliance, and regulatory implications of deploying AI tools in the workplace, including data privacy and risk mitigation.
  • •Experience handling international employment law issues, including consultations, labour relations, internal investigations, and disciplinary matters.
